A family business with three decades of sustainable farming expertise, built on real experience and a passion for results.
Sustainable Farm Solutions began its story in 1994 when Paul and Ellie Cox set out to find a better way to care for their livestock.
Seeking alternatives to the constant cycle of drenches, foot bathing and fly treatments for their fine wool merinos, and recurring pink eye in their cattle, they started a small family business built on one simple goal: sustainable, cost-effective solutions that actually work.
Today, we're proud to introduce Verdyn, bringing together three trusted brands under one roof. Stock Health, GFS Solutions and BioSystems Australia now unite as your complete partner for sustainable soil, stock and water management.
Paul's farming roots run deep. His father and grandfather both worked the land, and Paul followed suit, completing a farming apprenticeship and qualifying as a wool classer after leaving school in 1985.
When the wool market shifted in 1990, he spent years fencing across the state while still running the family farm. A change in circumstances in 1993 led him down a new path into biological fertilisers and soil health.
From day one, Paul and Ellie have been committed to learning, travelling the world, studying with leading agronomists and consultants, and bringing that knowledge home to Australian farmers.
One quote from Dr Arden Anderson has guided their approach to sustainable farming: "Treat the patient, not the lab report."
We believe in looking at the whole picture - your soil, your pastures, your livestock and the challenges unique to your operation - to develop programs that deliver real results.
Three decades on, Verdyn remains proudly family-owned and genuinely farmer-focused.
